Bodywork for Babies – The Healthcare Professionals Course
This two day course teaches health care professionals how to effectively use gentle, hands-on techniques to release physical tension in babies, toddlers and children by working with the 3D fascial web. The stresses of fetal life, birth and other injuries throughout life don’t just disappear, but can have lasting effects on normal physiology and function, and in the newborn, their ability to breastfeed and otherwise thrive. By addressing these injuries to the fascia that create tension, the body is returned to its innate ability to function as nature designed, and the baby finds greater ease in eating, digesting and breathing.
The techniques taught in this course easily release restrictions in the face, head and body that cause babies and children to suffer from breastfeeding and suck/swallow dysfunction, digestive problems like reflux and gas, earaches or labored breathing, cranial asymmetries, and overall brain health and development concerns. This course includes over six hours of lecture, guided video demos of the fascia release techniques, and the ability to use the techniques immediately with patients to improve health outcomes. The Bodywork for Babies course will teach students how to make a difference in the lives of babies and children in a way that no other therapy does as quickly, and it works seamlessly with other practices such as physical, lactation or occupational therapy. This work delivers to the newborn, baby or child the foundation for a lifetime of improved health.

Available Online or Online/In-person Hybrid!
Bodywork for Babies is now available as an online course! You can either do the entire course online from anywhere in the world, or you can do Day 1 online and attend the Day 2 in-person.
If the entire course is done online, then Day 2 is a one-on-one Zoom practical where you demonstrate your proficiency with the techniques on a baby you arrange to practice on over the Zoom call. You will receive guidance and feedback during the hour call from Bodywork for Babies Instructor Lauren Brim. You will be graduated at the end of the call if you show proficiency with the techniques taught in the course.
If the course is done as an Online/In-Person Hybrid, you will complete the Day 1 online (watching all of the videos and practicing on babies and adults at home) and then you will attend a Day 2 in-person wherever the course is next held. If you would like to bring the course to you, organize a Day 2 in your area. Minimum of eight students required.
